Blue Strike and partner, Glumac, are currently working with the City of San Luis Obispo on a series of strategies to bring the county operations to net zero carbon emissions. In this case, the strategies fall into three primary categories: energy efficiency measures for county buildings, electrification of the county fleet, and renewable energy installations on county property. The county has chosen an accelerated pathway to bring emissions from operations to zero by 2030 and the Team is performing financial and economic analysis for a series of possible pathways, to determine which one is right for the City. We have used our proprietary software CESA to help the City evaluate the costs and benefits of many possible carbon neutrality paths.
