Project: Climate Action and Adaptation Plan

Blue Strike (DBA EcoShift) led the development of the Climate Action & Adaptation Plan for the City of Los Altos, CA. The goal was to develop a new forward-thinking, accelerated plan with achievable and actionable steps that the City can take to reduce greenhouse gas emissions related to climate change and set clear metrics to achieve these goals. Blue Strike incorporated state requirements that include review and updated safety elements to address climate adaptation and resilience strategies; vulnerability  assessment; adaptation and resilience goals, policies and objectives; and  feasible implementation measures. Our work involved evaluating the existing Los Altos 2013 Climate Action Plan, collecting and securing cost and emission data, and analyzing that data to suggest refinements and innovative measures to achieve a comprehensive update.
