Project: Food Donation App

Working in partnership with Careit, Blue Strike supported the development and deployment of the Careit Food Donation App, a technology tool that increases the ease, convenience and monitoring of SB 1383 compliant edible food recovery donations between generators and food recovery organizations. Careit is free for generators and food recovery organizations. The localized App build-out was supported by CalRecycle Local Assistance Grant Program funding.
