Carpet America Recovery Effort
(CARE) Act Assistance

Since the passage of AB 2398, Carpet America Recovery Effort (CARE) has served as the California Carpet Stewardship Organization for the California Carpet Stewardship Program. Blue Strike supports this program by helping to develop a reuse market and expand convenient collection sites. CARE issues an annual report at the CARE Annual Conference each year. This report offers updated market development opportunities for recovered carpet, information on quantities managed through various management options, an assessment of successes and obstacles encountered during the reporting period, and a summary of national efforts related to carpet recycling.
